These kids have a choice EVERYBODY has a choice. Robbing, killing, selling drugs, self snitching. Life fast die young pretty corpse. I loved all of these psychological thrillers of the early 90s. Sleeping With the Enemy, Deceived, Single White Female, this one. So good.

I always thought it was just me who found that Nu Nu and Rashad in the car listening to Aaliyah scene cringe before I even knew what Cringe was.

Let’s be honest about something, back in the 90s it was just not “cool” to be openly gay especially in the Black community. And so I feel like this episode reflected that moment in time. Second of all for all intents and purposes Omar seemed to be a “straight” male who agreed to go out on a date with Moesha. Moesha wasn’t expecting a very effeminate male friend or possibly boyfriend of Omar to crash their date so I can understand why Moesha would be shocked. Moesha probably shouldn’t have told Kim or Niecy of all people but I never believed Moesha was trying to (intentionally) start a shitstorm by telling her friends about what went on with her date.

I watched this when I was like 5-6 all I remember is her throwing her baby away.. I talked about this for years and nobody remembers this movie .. thank you 😅

I've always loved A.J. Johnson's voice, and that she was so beautiful. But when she cried after she realized how good of a kid he was for rigging her husband's car. It didn't even seem like acting. There was a lot of pain from a bad man...and genuine appreciation for a real man all in one moment. Broke me. Not as much as him seeing Jada getting it in through the window.

THIS is my favorite Tyler Perry movie. The other ones I can take or leave but THIS one was it for me. I don’t mess with TP like that, but once I saw Alfre Woodard AND Kathy Bates on the cast, I had to see it. Plus I love me some Taraji and Sanaa, so 🤷🏽‍♀️. The whole cast, actually (although anyone could have played TP’s part, I think.)

Some of us who really grew up in the hood knew girls and boys that were similar to Nu-Nu. They treated the hood life like an esthetic that they desperately wanted to be a part of and then went back to their suburban gated communities.

Drew is clearly autistic, the awkward social interactions with others is a clear giveaway. I’m studying to be an occupational therapist, specifically a pediatric one and I picked up on it right away.

A dad with no history from the kid would make the son sleep on the couch. So at least the dad is fair...
